MEET ANTOINETTE CAMPBELL

Coach “Netty” is an experienced player indoor and on the beach! She led the F1TT program at Forza for the past few seasons. In 2018 her 15 Elite red finished 19th in SCVA! In 2015 she head coached Forza1 16-1s to a 17th place finish in SCVA. She has been coaching club for 16 years and has coached high school girls and boys. She has coached for SCVC, Sunshine and Club West Ontario and Temecula. In the 2011 season, she took Sunshine 15s South Bay to JO’s and got a silver medal.

Netty loves coaching and teaching and is very skilled in training kids at any level to progress further. She was a well-rounded player and specializes in all the positions but is especially passionate about passing and defense.

Coach Netty’s volleyball career started at St. Francis High School in downtown Sacramento. When she was in her junior year, the volleyball coach told her and her twin sister that they should play volleyball.

She played club for River City Volleyball in Sacramento for a couple of years and from there was blessed enough to earn a scholarship to USC in 1996 as an Outside Hitter. Her redshirt freshman year, she earned Pac-10 freshman of the year (when it was still the Pac-10).

Her senior year they made it all the way to the final four under the direction of now head coach of the University of Texas, Jerritt Elliot. After graduating she went to Albacete, Spain to play professionally for four years.
