MEET ANN

Ann Romero-Parks started her collegiate volleyball career at Concordia University before transferring to play for University of California at Riverside her last three years, where she played for Sue Gozansky and Monica Trainer.

Ann Romero-Parks is the Varsity coach at Murrieta Valley High School and will continue to be involved at the highest level  of coaching at Forza1. Last season her varsity team went to CIF and State finals!

In 2019 Ann helped coach the 18UA team with Dana to a 1st place finish in SCVA, a Gold Medal at LAs Vegas Classic and a 5th place finish at USA Nationals! In 2018 Ann coached with Dana Burkholder on the 18UA team finishing 2nd place in all of SCVA! In 2017 Ann coached the 15UA team with Dak Sivertson where they led the team to a silver medal at the 2017 USA National Championships. In 2016 Ann was the Assistant Coach on our 15UA team that finished 5th in SCVA. In 2015, Ann was the assistant coach on Forza1 17-1s and helped lead the team to a 13th place finish at USA Junior Nationals in the Open Divison. As a passionate player and former setter, Ann is gifted at helping players improve and perform with confidence. Ann played an integral part in attacking the opposing teams systems and managing the service reception. In 2014, Ann was an assistant on an 18-2s that competed in the Gold Division all year.

For the last 10+ years Ann has been a varsity assistant at Murrieta Valley High School, reaching the CIF quarter finals three times and the semi-finals once. 
Ann earned a BA in liberal studies with an emphasis in education and sociology from UCR and currently teaches in the Murrieta Valley School District. She recently finished her Masters Degree.
She and her husband Sean have three kids and enjoy the outdoors.
