Danny has been instrumental in his 17 years at Elsinore High School. Building the culture of caring among the students which is recognized through the district. He recently received the Crystal Apple Award as Elsinore H.S.’s outstanding teacher.
Danny teaches ASB and peer counseling at Elsinore H.S. Danny coaches the National 17 Black coach at Forza1 Volleyball. He genuinely cares about his peers and is players and wants the best for them and will do what he can to help them, unconditionally. Danny’s greatest strength as a volleyball coach is building a team. One that pulls together through the hard times and has the bond of caring for one another that is the glue that wins close games. This is his greatest satisfaction as a coach.

He graduated from Biola University, got his teaching credential from San Diego Stare and his masters from Azusa Pacific. He played basketball, baseball and soccer when he was little and then volleyball as a teen. He loved all sports and was always the most aggressive kid on the field. He and a friend started the Men’s Volleyball team at Biola in 1990.

“Danny lives his philosophy of life” Life is all about the journey” Living in the moment and enjoying it makes a full life. Its not really about where you get, but how you get there. His positive attitude in life is incredible”, says Danny’s father.
